DAS CIRCLEVAULT-PROJEKT 2005 – Eine rückblickende Analyse

Im Frühjahr 2005 startete mit www.circlevault.org ein erneuter Anlauf unter Führung des italienischen Kornkreis-Skeptikers Francesco Grassi von der Skeptiker-Organisation CICAP, mittels vorab hinterlegter Planskizzen den eindeutigen Nachweis zu erbringen, dass bestimmte Kornkreise von Menschen erzeugt wurden. Bereits zuvor gab es derartige Ansätze, die jedoch nie in objektiv kontrollier- und überprüfbaren Ergebnissen endeten. Bis heute, kurz vor dem Beginn der neuen Kornkreis-Saison 2006, wurden erst vier von 13 eingereichten Datensätzen dekodiert. Die Gründe hierfür sind und bleiben wohl unbekannt. Diese vier Fälle sollen im Folgenden betrachtet werden.
DIE METHODE
Mit dem neuen Anlauf und die Vorzüge des Internets nutzend, ist es mit diesem Projekt zumindest technisch gelungen, eine objektive Überprüfung der hinterlegten Daten und Absicherung gegen nachträgliche Manipulationen zu gewährleisten. Hierzu wurde ein ebenso einfach wie komplexes Sicherheitssystem entworfen und umgesetzt:
1) Die vermeintlichen Kornkreismacher- und Fälscher schicken Ihre Planungsskizzen in verschlüsselter Form und anonym an circlevault.org.
2) Diese verschlüsselten Daten werden dann per E-Mail an die Mitglieder der frei zugänglichen Mail-Liste gesendet. Diese laden die einzelnen Daten auf die eigenen Rechner, um eine nachträgliche Manipulation zu verhindern.
3) Die Kornkreissaison beginnt, Forscher führen Ihre Untersuchungen durch...
4) Nach Saisonende schicken die obig genannten Kornkreismacher- und Fälscher den Entschlüsselungscode an circlevault.org.
5) Circlevault.org sendet nun diese Entschlüsselungscodes an die Mail-Listenempfänger. Diese öffnen damit die bereits runtergeladenen Daten und sehen nun zum ersten Mal die Planungsskizzen welche eindeutig und nachweislich vor der Entstehung und Entdeckung bei circlevault.org hinterlegt wurden.

DIE ERGEBNISSE
Nachdem bis zu Beginn der Kornkreissaison (leider nur) 13 Datensätze eingegangen waren, ging denn auch die Kornkreissaison 2005 in die Lande und durch die Felder. Die Datensätze waren und sind auch auf der Homepage abrufbar. Siehe: http://www.circlevault.org/download.htm
Die Benennung der folgenden Fälle entspricht den Namen der eingesendeten Datensätze – dieser spiegelt wiederum das Eingansdatum der ursprünglichen Datensätze (Planungsskizzen) wieder (Bsp.: 20050512_01 = 2005/05/12, Datensatz 1).
FALL 1: 20050512_01
Die Planungsskizze zeigt eine Variation des bekannten „Yin&Yang“ Fischsymbols auf. Besonderes Merkmal war die zentrale Flammenform, deren Zentrum zudem durch einen, offenbar durch eine unterschiedliche Lagerichtung sich abgrenzenden, Zentralkreis markiert wurde.
Anhand dieser Merkmale und der ebenfalls angegebenen Maßangaben war es relativ einfach, anhand dieser Planungsskizze eine tatsächliche Formation des Sommers 2005 als Ergebnis zu identifizieren. Hierbei handelte es sich offenbar um eine Formation, die am 27. Juni 2005 in einem Feld bei Nieuwerkerken nahe Aalst in der belgischen Provinz Oost-Flanderen entdeckt wurde.
Auffallend war jedoch, dass die noch in der Planungsskizze angezeigte äußere Ringbahn im Feld nicht umgesetzt worden war. Sämtliche anderen geometrischen Merkmale, Maße und selbst der abgesetzte Zentralkreis stimmen überein.

Auswertung
Bereits die Felduntersuchung der Formation zeigte den lokalen Forschern bereits im Feld, dass es sich hierbei um eine „wahrscheinlich von Menschen angelegte Formation“ handelte. Dies wurde so auch auf der Homepage der belgischen Kollegen unter: http://www.graancirkels.be/archive.htm#2005 lange vor der Einsendung des Entschlüsselungscodes angemerkt. Leider liegt kein Luftbild der Formation vor, sodass eine Beurteilung der geometrischen Umsetzung nicht möglich ist. Die Fotos aus der Formation zeigen dennoch interessante Lagedetails, die jedoch von den Forschern vor Ort selbst als eher grob und ungenau eingestuft wurden. Weiterführenden Untersuchungen, wie etwa biophysiologische oder geo-mineralogische Analysen (Bsp.: BLT) wurden nicht durchgeführt.
FALL 2: 20050603_01
Die Planungsskizze zeigt eine verhältnismäßig einfache und kleine Formation deren Hauptelement 30 Meter Durchmesser aufweisen soll. Sie soll aus einem zentralen, aufrechtstehenden Kreis mit zwei niedergelegten Außenringen bestehen. Zudem sind zwei kleine Kreise einander gegenüberliegend außerhalb des Hauptkörpers platziert. Diese Kreise bilden zudem den Mittelpunkt für zwei niedergelegte Halbkreisbögen, die in die Formation hineinragen und dabei die beiden Außenkreise miteinander verbinden (siehe Skizze).
Die Macher, die sich in Ihren ebenfalls dekodierten Angaben selbst „The BBC Team“ nennen, lieferten zudem folgende weitere Planungsinformationen:

Mittels all dieser Angaben war es auch hier erneut recht einfach, die entsprechende Feldumsetzung zu identifizieren. Es handelte sich um eine Formation, die dann am 9. Juni 2005 bei Mercato Saraceno, nahe Cesena in Emilia Romagna entdeckt wurde.

Auswertung
Es ist bisher nicht bekannt auf welche Erfahrungswerte die Untersucher (u. a. Demetrio Santini) zurückgreifen können. Doch zumindest beim Anblick der Bilder kann zumindest subjektiv der Einschätzung von Alessandro Lue af dessen Seite: www.planetcircles.com bestätigt werden, wenn er feststellt: „(...) Anhand der Fotos lässt sich die beeindruckende Schönheit feststellen. (...)“ Leider existiert jedoch keine Luftaufnahme der Formation anhand derer die auch die geometrische Ausführung beurteilt werden könnte. Offenkundig verzichteten die Macher der Formation jedoch auf die nach Innen gerichteten Halbkreise – warum, ist bisher nicht bekannt. Weiterführenden Untersuchungen, wie etwa biophysiologische oder geo-mineralogische Analysen (Bsp.: BLT) wurden nicht durchgeführt.
In der lokalen Tageszeitung Courier of Cesena (12.06.2005) bedauert die Bauernfamilie besonders den entstandenen Schaden durch Formation und die unzähligen Besucher.
FALL 3: 20050621_01
Die Planungsskizze zeigt vier Ringe, die teilweise konzentrisch, teilweise auch leicht exzentrisch zum zentralen Kreis angeordnet sind. Auf allen Ringen liegen kleine, schwarzmarkierte Kreise. Exakte Winkelangaben (0°, 107°, 125° und 310°) legen zudem die Positionen dieser kleinen Kreise zueinander fest. Im Großen und Ganzen ergibt sich ein Muster mit deutlich astronomischen Zügen.
Nach Abgleich mit den Datensätzen der Archive konnte dann erneut eine italienische Formation als Feldumsetzung ausgemacht werden. Diese wurde am 28. Juli 2005 bei Strambino nahe Turin entdeckt wurde.

Auswertung
In diesem Falle liegt uns zum ersten Male nun auch ein Luftbild der entsprechenden Formation vor. Sicherlich eher zum Leidwesen der Hersteller, denn schon das geometrisch einfacher Muster zeigt deutliche Ungenauigkeiten in der Ausführung im Feld: Krumme und wackelige Ringbahnen erinnern beinahe mehr an Trampelspuren von Besuchern, als an einen (wie auch immer entstandenen) Kornkreis. Dabei ist es nicht nur die große Außenbahn des dritten Ringes, sondern auch schon die Ausführung der Inneren Kreisbahnen, die hier am Können der Kornkreismacher zweifeln lassen. Da letztlich auch die geplanten Proportionen der einzelnen Kreis- und Ringbahnen zueinander nicht stimmen, übereinstimmen auch die ursprünglich geplanten Positionen der kleinen Satellitenkreise nicht mit den exakten Vorgaben der vorab hinterlegten Planungsskizze. Es zeigt sich, wie schwer offenbar die Umsetzung der exakt geplanten Vorgabe fiel.
Doch neben dem sicherlich enttäuschenden Luftbild, gab es auch schon lange vor der Entschlüsselung weitere deutliche Hinweise auf die tatsächlichen Hersteller der Formation. Interessanterweise kamen diese dann jedoch aus der gleichen Quelle, wie das Circlevault-Projekt selbst: die italienische Skeptikerorganisation CICAP, bzw. deren Abteilung in Piemonte.
Die Homepage von CICAP Piemonte http://www.cicap.org/piemonte/cicap.php?section=indagini_in&content=cropcircles2005 berichtete (nach unserem Kenntnisstand) schon während der Kornkreis-Saison über die italienischen Kornkreise des Sommers 2005. Dieser Bericht zeigt auch eine grafische Zusammenstellung der hiesigen Kornkreise. Unter diesen Diagrammen war auch die Formation von Strambino zu sehen. Allerdings in einer doch stark idealisierten Version.
Nach Angaben von CICAP (E-Mail-Korrespondenz mit A. Müller) wurde der Bericht zum ersten Mal Ende Mai online gestellt und dann im Verlauf der Saison ständig aktualisiert. Das Diagramm der Formation von Strambino (bei CICAP mit „Caravino“ bezeichnet) wurde, so CICAP, kurz nach der Veröffentlichung des Luftbildes in einer lokalen Zeitung am 2. Juli 2005 eingepflegt.
Die Daten (inkl. Planungsskizze) auf circlevault.org wurden dann erst am 25. November 2005 entschlüsselt – nahezu fünf Monate später.
Vergleichen wir nun jedoch die drei vorhandenen Abbildungen (1. Planungsskizze; 2. maßstabgetreues Diagram des Luftbildes; 3. Diagram der CICAP Homepage), so stellen wir fest, dass die Proportionen der Planungsskizze mit jenen der Feldumsetzung nur noch wenig gemein haben.
Legen wir nun jedoch die Planungsskizze über das Diagramm der CICAP Homepage, so decken sich diese nahezu perfekt – es wurde lediglich der Satellitenkreis auf dem zentralen Kreis entfernt und der Zentralring zum ausgefüllten Kreis angepasst. Ein Schelm, der böses dabei denkt...

Die Übereinstimmung des CICAP-Diagrams (veröffentlicht im Juli 2005) mit der Planungsskizze (veröffentlicht im November 2005) ist derart genau, dass ein Zufall ausgeschlossen werden kann.
Folgerichtig lässt dies nur einen Schluss zu, dass CICAP selbst und direkt and der Herstellung der Formation beteiligt war – oder zumindest vorab sehr detaillierte Insiderinformation (Planungsskizze) gekannt haben muss.
(Anmerkung: Es sei erwähnt, dass es sich bei dieser Schlussfolgerung lediglich um die Sicht des Autors handelt! Sie beschreibt nicht zwangsläufig die tatsächlichen Umstände. Sollte es hierzu ein Statement von CICAP geben, werden wir diesen Artikel natürlich umgehend aktualisieren.)
Bisher liegen mir leider keine Beschreibungen der Qualitäten der Formation am Boden vor. Die äußerst grobe Ausführung der Geometrie lässt jedoch zumindest erahnen, mit was Besucher am Boden konfrontiert waren...
Weiterführenden Untersuchungen, wie etwa biophysiologische oder geo-mineralogische Analysen (Bsp.: BLT) wurden nicht durchgeführt.
FALL 4: 20050708_01
Die Planungsskizze zeigt ein komplexes Siebensternmuster. Interessant bei dieser Planungsskizze sind besonders zwei Merkmale: Es fehlen sowohl ein zentraler Kreis, als auch konstruktive Verbindungslinien, die das kleinere zentrale Sternelement zum größeren Stern ausführen (siehe Diagramm (r.) in folgender Abbildung). Somit ergäbe sich zumindest ein gesteigerter Schwierigkeitsgrad beim konstruieren der Form. Erschwerend kommt hinzu, dass die Außenkreise lediglich als Ringe (also mit stehendem und unbeschädigtem Zentrum) geplant waren, obwohl dies (bei mechanischer Herstellung) einen zentralen Zirkelpunkt, bzw. eine Person im Zentrum, benötigt. Zudem verläuft der Außenring ebenfalls durch die Zentren eines jeden der sieben Ringe. Soweit die Planungsidee...
Auch in diesem Falle war es recht einfach, die entsprechende Formation als Umsetzung im Feld zu identifizieren. Hierbei handelte es sich unverwechselbar um jene Formation, die am 10./11. Juli 2005 am Monteu da Po in der italienischen Region Piemonte entdeckt wurde.

Auswertung
Leider wurde die Formation nicht eingehend untersucht. Nach Aussagen eine Anwohnerin, soll sie jedoch in einer regnerischen Nacht „entstanden“ sein. Weiterführenden Untersuchungen, wie etwa biophysiologische oder geo-mineralogische Analysen (Bsp.: BLT) wurden nicht durchgeführt.
Dennoch gab auch in diesem Fall erneut lange vor der Entschlüsselung auf circlevault.org deutliche Hinweise auf die Hersteller der Formation. Und wieder sind diese wohl in den Reihen der italienischen Skeptikerorganisation CICAP zu suchen.
Auch hier verbirgt sich der Hinweis direkt auf der Homepage von CICAP Piemonte http://www.cicap.org/piemonte/cicap.php?section=indagini_in&content=cropcircles2005 selbst. Der bereits zu „Fall 3“ beschriebene Bericht und dessen grafische Zusammenstellung der 2005er Kornkreise, beinhaltete auch eine grafische Darstellung der Formation von Monteau da Po.
Wie bereits in den Ausführungen zu „Fall 3“ erwähnt, wurde der Bericht zum ersten Mal Ende Mai online gestellt und dann im Verlauf der Saison ständig aktualisiert. Das Diagramm der Formation von Monteu da Po wurde, so CICAP, kurz nach der Veröffentlichung des Luftbildes in einer lokalen Zeitung am 18. Juli 2005 eingepflegt.
Die Daten (inkl. Planungsskizze) auf circlevault.org wurden dann erst am 2. Dezember 2005 entschlüsselt veröffentlicht – mehr als fünf Monate später.

Das Luftbild dieser Formation unterschiedet sich in einem kleinen, aber interessanten Punkt von jener Zeichnung, wie sie auf der Homepage von CICAP Piemonte zu sehen ist: Die Zeichnung zeigt zwar einen zentralen Kreis jedoch keine konstruktiven Verbindungslinien, die das kleinere zentrale Sternelement zum größeren Stern ausführen. Diese Verbindungslinien fehlen ebenfalls in der erst später (am 2. Dezember 2005) entschlüsselten Planungsskizze. Ein Schelm, wer Böses dabei denkt...
Ein weiterer Punkt, in welchem sich die Planungsskizze von der Feldumsetzung deutlich und gravierend unterscheidet, sind die sieben Außenringe bzw. Kreise. Wie obig bereits erläutert, waren diese ursprünglich als Ringe geplant – ein Merkmal, welches den Schwierigkeitsgrad für eine mechanische Umsetzung im Feld deutlich gesteigert hätte. Im Feld waren dann jedoch gänzlich niedergelegte „Kreise“ (also keine „Ringe“) zu sehen, was die ganze Sache wesentlich vereinfacht!
Und hier kommt erneut das dubiose CICAP-Diagramm ins Spiel. Dieses zeigt, nun erneut eine sonderbare Kombination aus ursprünglicher Planungsskizze (da fehlende Verbindungslinien) und Umsetzung im Feld (zu Kreisen ausgefüllte Ringe)...
Dass nun der Zentralkreis und die Verbindungslinien im Feld vorhanden sind, erleichtert natürlich die Konstruktion des Sternmusters enorm.
Folgerichtig bleibt also auch hier nur der Schluss, dass CICAP selbst und direkt and der Herstellung der Formation beteiligt war – oder zumindest vorab sehr detaillierte Insiderinformation (Planungsskizze) gekannt haben muss.

THE CIRCLEVAULT-PROJECT 2005 – An Analytic Review

In Spring 2005 headed by Italian Sceptic Francesco Grassi a new homepage titled www.circlevault.org started a new attempt to proof the man-made origin of at least some future crop circle formations by storing lay-out sketches of already planed but future hoax/man-made projects. Similar ideas and projects had been developed and tried out before but mostly failed due to a lack control mechanism or objective evidence that the later published sketches were indeed produced preliminary to the actual crop circle formation. The new project indeed offers such control mechanisms and objective quality of evidence.
However, while facing already the beginning of the new crop circle season 2006, only four of 13 stored plans have been decoded and revealed. The reasons for this are only known to the unknown hoaxers and human circlemakers who still hold the key to unveil their preliminary plans. Therefore this first part of a review of this project can only focus on those four cases.
THE METHOD
Contrary to the earlier projects the new circlevault.org project is using the technical advantage and options of the Internet. For this a simple but indeed effective security system guarantees an objective control mechanism:
1) The Hoaxers/Circlemakers send their already encrypted blueprint plan to circlevault.org
2) Those encrypted data will be send by circlvault.org to all subscribers of the mailing list. So each member can download the file on his own computer, making sure that no one else can alter it from outside.
3) The crop circle seasons starts and the researchers conduct their usual investigation...
4) After the season (or after the formation in question has been discovered) the hoaxers/human circlemakers unlock the encrypted blueprint plan.
5) Now circlevault.org sends out those decryption key to all members who now are able to decrypt the files stored on their very own computers and can now see the plan and further information for the very first time

THE RESULTS
While already facing the new crop circle season 2006 only four of a total of 13 stored files about the 2005 season have been decrypted so far (see: http://www.circlevault.org/download.htm)
The following naming of the discussed cases is based on the file-names which in itself is representing the date of entry to the circlevault.org database (Example: 20050512_01 = 2005/May/12, Record 1).
CASE 1: 20050512_01
The preliminary encrypted blueprint sketch shows a variation of the well-known „Yin&Yang“ fish-symbol. A special feature is the marked central circle that seemed to indicate a different direction of the floor construction.
Based on the shown geometry and the given measurements it was relatively easy to identify a matching crop circle formation of 2005. This was very likely the formation that was discovered on June 27, 2005, in a field at Nieuwerkerken, near Aalst in the Belgian Province of Oost-Flanderen.
The only discrepancy between the preliminary blueprint sketch and the formation was the fact that the outer ring present on the sketch was missing in the field. All other characteristics – such as for example the central circle – were present and even the measurements did match on both, plan and actual crop circle formation.

Evaluation
Already the first investigations by local crop circle researchers states that this formation was „probably made by humans. This conclusion was published at http://www.graancirkels.be/archive.htm#2005 long before the file was decrypted by circlevault.org. Unfortunately there is no aerial of the formation available. This fact makes a judgement of the geometrical quality impossible. However, the available ground shots from inside the new discovered formation show a charismatic interesting details of how the crop was flattened. But it was also this very lay of the crop that made the above mentioned researchers suspicious about this formation. In conversation with the author Tommy Borms explained that the overall impression was very rough and irregular. No further investigation, sampling or laboratory analysis (like BLT) had been conducted.
CASE 2: 20050603_01
The preliminary encrypted blueprint sketch shows a relatively small and simple formation made of a 30 meters central but standing circle marked by two flattened rings. Two equal sized semi circles placed on the inside of the outer ring connect the rings. Two smaller circles are placed in opposite the semi circles in the standing crop outside of the main body (see: plan sketch).
The makers included also further information on the planed crop circle formation:

With the support of all that information it was very easy to find the matching formation. It was discovered on June 9, 2005 at Mercato Saraceno, near Cesena in Emilia Romagna.

Evaluation
It is yet unknown if the local researchers (such as Demetrio Santini, etc.) are trained field-investigators or not, but at least the pictures shown on the homepage of Alessandro Lue at: http://www.planetcircles.com support the testimony of the investigating people that „the photos show a remarkable beauty (...)“ Unfortunately there is no aerial of the formation and the angle does not allow a supporting stretched pseudo aerial version of the photos taken on ground level. Therefore a geometrical judgement is hardly possible.
An obvious detail of the formation in the field is the absence of the inwards-directed semi-circles that were planed to connect the two rings. So far it is unknown why that is. No further investigation, sampling or laboratory analysis (like BLT) had been conducted.
In its issue on June 12, 2005, the local newspaper „Courir of Cesena" reported that the farmer’s family regret the loss of crop caused by the formation and its many following visitors.
CASE 3: 20050621_01
The preliminary encrypted blueprint sketch shows four rings, some placed concentric, some slightly eccentric around a central circle. Each ring has a small satellite circle marked black
precise circular angle readings (0°, 107°, 125° und 310°) pinpoint each circle’s position. The plan shows an overall astronomical taste.
Comparing different crop circle archive it was again possible to find the matching crop circle formation that was discovered on July 28, 2005 at Strambino nearTorino.

Evaluation
This is the first encrypted case of which we have a real aerial picture to compare it with the preliminary blueprint sketch – certainly to the disappointment of its human makers because it reveal to enormous lack in geometry, precision and performance. Sinuous and groggy path look more like the usual trampling-paths cutting through the crop in and out of crop circle formation than an actual crop circle. And it is not only this crooked appearance of the outer ring but also the quality of the inner ones that cause serious doubts about those human circlemaker’s skills. Finally also the planed proportions went different from the plan-sketch and the planed positions of the small satellite circles also vary from the (maybe to) precise planed blueprint. This case exemplarily shows how difficult it seems to have been to bring the previous planed ideas into reality.
But beside the disappointing quality of the formation itself, there were suspicious points against it’s euthenics even in advance and long before the data were decoded - points that lead straight ahead to the most likely hoaxers who seem to have at least collaborated with the organisers of the circlevault-projects themselves: the Italian Sceptic’s organisation CICAP.
Soon after the Italian crop circle season was over, the Homepage of CICAP Piemonte http://www.cicap.org/piemonte/cicap.php?section=indagini_in&content=cropcircles2005 reported about some of the Italian crop circle formations in 2005 so far. It has to be pointed out that (to our knowledge*) at that time, the circlevault-files were still encrypted and not visible to somebody else than the hoaxers themselves. Strange enough it was this very report that showed also a graphical overview of the discussed crop circle formations. And included as well: a diagram of the formation at Strambino – even if in a very idealized version.
According to the information the author (A.M.) received from CICAP by e-mail, the report was published first in early May 2005 and was updated over the following weeks and month on a regular basis. According to CICAP the diagram of the formation at Strambino (the CICAP homepage refers to „Caravino“) was updated soon after the (aerial) photo was published by a local newspaper on July 2. July 2005.
The preliminary encrypted blueprint and data stored at circlevault.org were decoded then on November 25, 2005 – nearly five month later.
If we now compare the available diagrams (1. Preliminary blueprint; 2. a scaled diagram based on the aerial; 3. the diagram as shows on the CICAP homepage), we can see that the proportions of the blueprint show only very faint resemblance with the way it was placed into the field.
But if we compare the same blueprint now with the diagram from the CICAP homepage, (beside the fact that the central satellite circle was removed and the others diameters were slightly altered with the final field result) both do match strangely perfect. Honi soit qui mal y pense...

The nearly perfect match of the CICAP-Diagram (published already in July 2005) with the preliminary encrypted blueprint (revealed in November 2005) exclude the possibility of it being a simple coincidence.
Consequentially we seem to be left with a single but simple conclusion: CICAP itself was directly involved in this formation’s making ... or was at least aware of the plan and the preliminary blueprint.
(Note: We would like to not that the above described conclusion is the one of the author of this article and does not automatically reflect the real situation. If there will be a reply and statement by CICAP we will update this article.)
So far no reports and descriptions of the formation quality of the floor construction are available, while already the aerial suggests that we should not wait for surprises.
No further investigation, sampling or laboratory analysis (like BLT) had been conducted.
CASE 4: 20050708_01
The preliminary encrypted blueprint sketch shows a relatively complex seven-fold pattern. This sketch plan shows several characteristics that would have been interesting – at least from a geometrical and constructive point of view - if they would have been incorporated as well in the final version in the field: There is no central circle and there are no constructional connection-paths that enlarge the central small star into the outer big star element. Furthermore the outer circles were actually planned as rings with an untouched central standing centre. This would have made the creation of that outer circles a hard task because – if mechanically constructed- a circle and even more a ring needs a central compass point. Further on the outer encompassing ring would have cut through each of the seven rings ...at least as planed in the blueprint sketch.
Also consulting the Italian archives could identify this formation relatively easy. The actual fieldwork was discovered on July 10/11, 2005 at Monteu da Po in the Italian Region Piemonte.

Evaluation
Unfortunately we have no knowledge of any in field investigation of this formation.
According to a local resident it is said that the formation „appeared“ in a rainy night. No further investigation, sampling or laboratory analysis (like BLT) had been conducted.

The graphical depiction of the discussed crop circles did also include formations of which the homepage states that there were no aerial pictures available so far. The preliminary encrypted blueprint and data stored at circlevault.org were decoded then on December 2, 2005 – nearly five month later.
The aerial of the formation shows a small but meaningful discrepancy to the diagram at the CICAP homepage. While the CICAP diagram does show a central circle it shows however NO connection-lines that enlarge the central star to it encompassing bigger sister. The same lines are missing as well in the encrypted preliminary blueprint that was decoded very later (on December 2, 2005). And again: Honi soit qui mal y pense...
This discrepancy and the matching with the preliminary blueprint are just too obvious to be called a simple graphical mistake – especially in the context of the above described „Case 3“.
But there are even more suspicious discrepancies between the preliminary blueprint and the way the formation was placed into the field as visible on the aerial: The planed seven outer rings were completely flattened into filled-out circles in the field formation. This made the mechanical construction much more easier and less special than previously planed. And again we are back at the dubious CICAP diagram that now shows a strange mixture of the preliminary encrypted blueprint (missing connection lines between the small and bigger star) and the way the formation was placed in the field (rings flattened into circles).
The fact that a main central circle as well as the connection-lines are present in the final formation made its whole /mechanical) construction much more easy than the design as it was planed shown in the preliminary encrypted blueprint.
Again we are left with a single option: CICAP itself was directly involved in this formation’s making ... or was at least aware of the plan and the preliminary blueprint.
